Ingredients
- 3 jars of Mother Hen pork purees, thawed
- 1 egg
- 175 ml (3/4 cup) cooked quinoa
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) oat cereal for babies
- 5 ml (1 teaspoon) onion powder
- 2 ml (1/2 tsp.) ground turmeric
- 2 ml (1/2 tsp.) curry powder
Tips
Replace the pork with any other Mother Hen meat puree or poultry to vary the flavors. You can also swap quinoa for rice or barley. The croquettes can be frozen for up to 3 months and can be stored in the refrigerator for 48 hours.
Preparation
1. Preheat the oven to 350˚F (180˚C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Pour all the ingredients into a bowl.
3. Mix until everything becomes almost homogeneous.
4. Shape into croquettes using a tablespoon and place on the baking sheet, or divide the mixture into miniature muffin tins.
5. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until the tops of the croquettes are lightly browned.
